On Goue Oues, a free account gives you a profile with photos, browsing, daily suggestions and a limited number of messages a day, and you can read and answer messages from VIP members at no cost. VIP lifts the message limit and adds more ways to search.
Goue Oues VIP costs R149 for a week, R280 for a month or R1,300 for a year (R109 a month), with three- and six-month plans in between. Every plan renews automatically until you cancel it, except the 12-month plans. Our pricing page has the full list.
Elsewhere, the free part differs, as the tables show: SeniorMatch’s free members cannot start a conversation, while Koer lets matched members chat without paying. Free dating groups on WhatsApp and Facebook show you no profile at all, and scammers know it.

Turning 60 barely narrows the field. SilverSingles and SeniorMatch are built around people over 50, Koer’s age range runs to 80-plus, and on Goue Oues seven in ten members are 55 or older, with about as many women as men. Gauteng is the section’s busiest province, then the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

The pattern seldom changes: warm messages every day, talk of love within weeks, a reason they can never meet or switch on a camera, then an emergency that only money can fix.
